Get to Know Some Friendly Cows at Shamrock Farms
One of the largest dairy producers in Arizona, Shamrock Farms is about 20 minutes from Maricopa. There you’ll find tours of a major working farm which is both exciting and interesting. You’ll get to see how the cows are fed, melt and taken care of, which is great for kids. The tour itself is given in an open tram, so it’s best to bring the appropriate clothing, sunglasses, and sunblock. Shamrock Farms also offers a a cute café; where you can get some snacks after your tour. One thing to remember; you need to make reservations in advance.
